Overview
Remodelling and extension of entire house in North London. The house sits within a suburban late Edwardian terrace. The project concept was to create a practical, modernist interior within this classically proportioned house.
Underfloor heating is provided throughout the property. South facing rooms have been knocked through and extended to create a bright light filled kitchen/dining/social space.
A frameless roof light allows natural light to penetrate deep into the space. The flooring tiles extend through to the external terrace area to create a summer party space. This is allowed by sliding / folding doors alomg the entireity of the rear elevation.
Storey height interior doors provide a reference to the original grandness of the house.
